So, Why would anyone order wings and not expect a dipping sauce? Build it into the price or something! Minus 1 star for rude service, poor communication and over all cost
Good wings with a lot of unique flavors! Food: I really enjoyed Serge's GBP wings the most. Old bay is good with a little bit of spicy and sweetness. Ambiance: There are no seating, takeout only which is unfortunate. Would definitely come back if I was in the area or wanted to go picnic somewhere! Service: Service was pretty fast as we ordered online. Parking: Street parking only, kind of difficult
First off we ordered this to our door and that's hardly a way to enjoy anything fried- so I am ready to go back and eat this fresh. I did really enjoy the sandwich and the wings too! Especially the KFC, the Lemmon pepper rub, and the sichuan salt and pepper wings. Very good Asian/american fusion right here! Next time we will be able to check out the space. I am looking forward to trying this served fresh from the chefs who work here!
Wow! These wings are bomb and probably one of the best wings I've had from the city! There were very flavorful and juicy. The Cole slaw was not too sweet and definitely gave the wings a nice balance of freshness. My favorite wings out of the four that I ordered were the Chris wings and soy garlic. The Al pastor was a little bit too saucy and the same goes for the mango habanero. All the wings had great flavor but I just prefer dry rub
Great food. Very little parking in the area but you could get lucky. Easy to order ahead online and pick up. Salt and pepper flavor was very good. I like a dry rub. The honey wings are also very good. The honey feels a little diluted, so it's thinner than you'd expect, but it works because the honey flavor isn't so concentrated and overpowering.
My friend's had been recommending Hot Sauce and Panko for a while, so when I finally had a wings craving, I made sure to check them out and it truly exceeded my expectations. As a chronically indecisive person, the plethora of flavors to choose from was very overwhelming. I think I spent a solid 15 minutes figuring out what sounded the tastiest before placing an order for take out--don't worry I didn't hold up the line with my indecisiveness. In the end, I settled on an order of Chris's and Lime. The wings were fried to perfection and of a good size. Chris's was salty and sweet and the pepper really helped cut through the sweetness from the honey. The chili fish lime sauce on the Lime wings had a slight sour tang that complimented the fried wings. Overall, you can't go wrong with any of their flavors, and I can't wait to try more on my next visit!
I was told Hot Sauce and Panko was the best place for wings in the city and now that I've tried it, I 100% agree! We ordered the Panko Chicken Sandwich with Buffalo Sauce (not pictured) and Chris', Al Pastor, Korean and Satay wings. The chicken sandwich was amazing!! 10/10 would re order. The chicken was thick but not dry and perfectly breaded. The wings were also great. My favourite was Al Pastor, the sauces reminded me of one of my favourite shawarma spots. I also loved the sweet honey flavour on the Chris' wings. The Korean and Satay wings were very flavourful but just too spicy for me. If you aren't the best with spice, I'd definitely recommend adding some ranch dip to your order. On my to do list next: trying the rest of the wing flavours!
Awesome local spot. We finally got out to try it, and it's a tiny takeout spot. Lots of character though, with tons of interesting signs, posters, etc. to look at while you're waiting for your food. We got the green (cilantro, jalapeno, ginger), the salt & pepper, chili crunch, and Chris's. My main takeaway was that they were all a bit lacking in seasoning; the seasoning that I got was fantastic, but on almost every piece, I just wish it was dosed with more of it. The salt & pepper was probably my favorite; tasted like the nostalgic popcorn chicken I would get at boba shops. Chris's had a very bold and strong flavor, and is quite sweet from the honey. I enjoyed it, but I would avoid if you enjoy more mild flavors. The green and the chili crunch were both lacking in flavor for me. The chicken itself was very very tender and crispy, and they clearly use high quality chicken. No weird fat chunks in any bite, and they come out super fresh and burning hot. Definitely recommend! I'll be back to try their chicken sandwich.
